Woking through Hell & High Water – PL Update

3 times we’ve face Woking this season, and 3 defeats is the record. Goals are the problem, Sam Smith’s attempt to bundle the keeper over the line was never going to work and it’s a struggle where the goals will come from.

We had 78 predictions for the 45th round of the prediction league. 56% went for a Hereford win, 22% went for a draw and 22% correctly predicted a win for the cards. HUFCKINGER & Jamer99 won a prize better than a winning bet on the national, 5 points for predicting the correct score (OK, maybe not!), 15 further predictors predicted the defeat and got 3 points. 8 predictors got a bonus point for predicting zero Hereford goals, 1 predictor got points for predicting the margin (-1), whilst 7 predictors obtained a point for getting the score the wrong way around.

The Table is starting to look a bit more competitive at the top as it comes to a conclusion, and with 30 points still available top spot is still obtainable by any of the top 16. The main protagonists include long term leader Kick in the Bulls who now holds a 1 point lead over DORSET BULL in second place, with Barry the Hatchet only 3.5 points further back. fsqatech & Graeme159 complete the top 5 with 5 games remaining. But remember it’s not just the top 3 who will achieve the prizes in our prediction league, plenty of other prizes are on offer, along with the scalp of beating your fellow supporters. The biggest mover this round was Jamer99 who’s maximum points collection gained 9 positions up the table.

The monthly table for April is only 1 game old, and with 5 games left, and 30 points remaining to be obtained, it is still up to any predictor where the final monthly prize goes. Booby Prize positions are filled by GemmaLou1511 (20th position), Jolboy (42 points) & thefatbull (the least successful continuous competitor).

The table is up to date here on the prediction league page, and we’re now actively encouraging predictions for the game away at Welling on Tuesday night (please come home with a win lads!), email James using predictions@hufctrust.co.uk
