Welling up after a win – PL Update
That wining feeling has come back. We at PL central could not be happier. Not only did HUFC pick up some vital points, but we get to award points to our predictors for it. It makes this job so much easier!
We had 77 predictions for this game, with 34% correctly going for a HUFC win, HURRAH! 27% thought we could escape with a draw, whilst the remaining 39% predicted our horror run would continue. Of our predictors 9 predicted the correct score of a 1-0 away win, therefore 5 points were awarded to Terry Jackins, LoopyLou, Slaphead Ben James, Squinny, Jambowisard, Alaistairhufc, Alvin & the Chipshops, Jherdo & thethinbull. 17 more predictors got 3 points for predicting a victory and 41 bonus points were shared out between those predicting the right number of HUFC goals, the correct margin (+1) or the inverse score-line.
The table has been update and is shown here on the prediction league page, with Kick in the Bulls reaffirming his lead adding an extra point to his total whilst rivals DORSET BULL & Barry the Hatchett failed to pick up points. fsqatech holds onto fourth position whilst Terry Jackins climbs back into the top 5. There are now 24 competitors on 3 figures for the season, whilst it was ladybull who climbed the most after last night’s game moving up 10 positions to 47th.
The monthly table is now two games old, and its LoopyLou who leads the way on 9 points out of a possible 10, and 2 points ahead of Charlie’s Libbyrated Army who in turn is a point ahead of Terry Jackins & Jamer99. There are still 25 points available from the last 4 games of the season.
The next game is Saturday against Gateshead at Edgar Street, email James with your prediction before kick off on Saturday – predictions@hufctrust.co.uk
