Hoping for better come Friday – PL Update

Not even the presence of Ronnie Radford could inspire the boys to a win yesterday, as the great man watched on the Bulls plunged into the Relegation zone. With 3 games to go, a win on Friday away at Tamworth now seems a must.

We had 80 predictions for the game yesterday, 48% going for a win to follow up Tuesday’s 3 point haul, 32% going for a draw with 20% correctly predicting that the Gateshead fans would travel back home happy. Podge & Credenhillbull were the predictors who benefitted most from the game, with 5 points picked up by each of them after predicting the 0-1 score-line. 14 further predictors went for a loss picking up 3 points each before bonuses. 8 points were shared out to those who predicted HUFC would not score, 6 were given to those who predicted we’d lose by a goal & 14 were given out to the optimists who thought the score would be the other way around. If only Rob Purdie had scored that goal at the other end.

The table is up to date here on the prediction league page. It is a 3 horse race for top spot now with long time leader Kick in the Bulls, DORSET BULL & Barry the Hatchett all picking up 4 points to leave themselves in contention with 3 games and 20 points remaining. fsqatech & Terry Jackins complete the current top 5 with it still all to play for in terms runners up prizes, booby prizes and of course the monthly prize, along with beating your fellow HUFC supporters. 20 points are still availbe from the last 3 games. Credenhillbull was our biggest mover jumping a massive 13 positions up the table.

The monthly table is half way complete with LoopyLou still leading the way now on 13 points for April, 5 points ahead of nearest rivals Barry the Hatchett, Hereford Bulls 78 & Podge with 3 games and 20 points still available.

The Bulls need as much support and positivity going forward to Friday evening at Tamworth and with the results of Aldershot & Dartford (and to a lesser extent Southport) already known by Bulls players, staff & fans before kick off we will all still know that a win is imperative. No Hereford fan wants to go from League 1 to Conference North/South in a matter of 6 seasons, lets roar the might Bulls away from trouble on the pitch on Friday, the following Monday and survive come the final game of the season away at Aldershot a week on Saturday. These 3 games are as important as any in the history of HUFC.

We’ll take predictions for all 3 of these games up until kick off through predictions@hufctrust.co.uk – we want to award points for wins, so be positive!!!!
