Forest Gump The Sequel – PL Update
A Chris Bush wonder strike cancelled out a dubious goal from FGR to earn the bulls a point on the Telly, taking their BT Sport stats to W1 D1 L1 – We’re Unpredictable!
The Prediction League is up to date over on our Prediction League page, but here are the main stats & protagonists following our first game for 11 days.
We had 84 predictions for the match, 33% going for a Bulls win, 32% going for a Veggie victory and 35% going for a draw – really not unanimous then. We had 29 predicting the draw, 27 of which picked up all 5 points for the correct prediction of 1 goal each. The other two picked up 4 points – 3 for the correct result & a bonus point for the correct margin (nil). Other bonus points were given to those who predicted the correct number of HUFC goals (1) – 22 predictors gained a point for this. It was impossible to get an inverse scoreline! the most popular score-line predicted was the 1-1 draw ahead of a 2-1 Bulls win.
The table see Kick in the Bulls extending his lead up to 96 points, with a cushion of 6 points to his nearest rival Terry Jackins who has overtaken ROGER LUNDBERG with 2 points separating 2nd & 3rd spot. St Albans Bulls (85 points) & Barrt the Hatchet (83.5 points) complete the top 5. The biggest mover was Organic with the Bullsnews contributor jumping 18 places up the table.
The monthly table has only just begun due to various postponements and therefore we’ve got 27 competitors on 5 points, 2 on 4 points and 22 on 1 point – but all can change yet!
The current end of season Booby Prize holders are Robbie Williams (16th Position), thethinbull (32 points) & Big Daddy Splash (the least successful continuous competitor) – 20 games to go with a maximum of 120 points still available to any competitor – a prediction streak will really put anyone in contention)
Our next game is a week on Saturday. At home to Southport – We hope you can come along and support the lads to hopefully a winning prediction – nothing better than 3 points for the Bulls & 5 points for yourself! email us using predictions@hufctrust.co.uk before kick off on the 18th to register your prediction.
So go have a look to see how you’re getting along in our Prediction League!
