Forest Gumped on the Telly – PL Update

A win, a clean sheet, a goal and a more spirited display, all on the TV. Jon Brown’s pinged strike was enough to make us the toast of the BT Sport watching nation, famous Hereford United are back!

We had 91 predictions for this game, including a new competitor! Welcome murph2210! There was optimism in the air too, 74% correctly predicted a win. 22% went for a draw whilst 4% felt the big spending Gloucestershire men would come away for the three points. It was a DOUBLE POINTS ROUND so we had a lot of position swapping too. Of the win predictors 6 got the 1-0 score-line spot on picking up the maximum ten points on offer. 61 competitors got at least 6 points for predicting the win before bonus points which were handed out a 2 a piece. 19 predictors got the correct number of Hereford Goals & 35 predicted the correct margin (+1), none of our predictors went for a 1-0 reverse.

The league table then, it’s Kick in the Bulls who will be leading the way into 2014 extending his lead to 4 points over ROGER LUNDBERG who has climbed 3 places to 2nd ahead of Terry Jackins by 2 points. Barry the Hatchet & DORSET BULL are a further 2.5 & 3 points back respectively with Norwegian Bull, St Albans Bull, Barney Rubble, ryanhufc & BenSmithsDislocatedShoulder completing the top 10. Our biggest movers after yesterdays game were Alaistairhufc & kingsarmsstratton who jumped up the table 20 positions, sadly Lexan & Alvin & the Chipshops fell the other direction by the same amount.

For the final month of 2013, our monthly table was wide open, with anyone able to win the monthly prize, but in joint 4th position MW & kingsarmsstratton with 15 points from the 4 games, a point behind Enforcerbull & alastairhufc in joint 2 place for the month, but it was the prediction of the correct score in the DOUBLE POINTS ROUND which has given Llubyllub a 3 point lead at the end of the month. We will be in contact with you in regards to your prize shortly.

With 4 months left of the season, there’s plenty of twists and turns to come in this league, the current end of season prize occupants are camelot bulls (16th position) & MPG2000 (the least successful continuous competitor), no competitor healthordisease.com is currently matching the bulls points total.

Our next game is new years day at home to Kidderminster – who lost 6-0 yesterday… get those predictions into us using predictions@hufctrust.co.uk before kick off in 2014. Make sure to go have a look at our table before the ball drops, it’s over on our prediction league page, with all we can do between now and the next game is wish all our Prediction League Competitors a very Happy New Year.
