Beadle’s Bulls Beaten By Barnet – PL Update
A new man in charge and an improved attitude on & off the pitch, sadly it didn’t improve the result, but we still live in hope that PB will get the strikers striking, the defenders defending & the midfielders midfielding and save us from the dreaded drop.
We had 87 predictions for the game against Barnet yesterday. 43% expected an immediate upturn in form and went for a HUFC win, 28% went for a level game with the remaining 29% correctly going for a loss. DORSET BULL, Barry the Hatchett, Graeme159, Nailswortholdbull, Noble Bull, HuddBull & Alvin & the Chipshops were the 7 predictors who scored 5 points for predicting the 2-0 score, with 19 further predictors picking up the 3 points on offer for predicting a loss of different proportions. Bonus Points were given to 8 predictors who predicted HUFC wouldn’t score, 3 entrants who predicted a 2 goal defeat & 2 predictors who optimistically predicted the score-line the wrong way around.
The top of the table which is available to view HERE has started to become more interesting again, with Kick in the Bulls still leading the way, but his lead has now been cut to 4 points by DORSET BULL, Barry the Hatchet could also be top after the next game which is a DOUBLE POINTS ROUND. Phylo retains 4th spot, with Graeme159 entering the top 5 for the first time this season. The 100 point club has a new member with Singe joining 16 other competitors on 3 figures. Alvin & the Chipshops was our biggest mover, jumping 8 positions up the table.
1 game remains in March, so everyone should know what that means by now… DOUBLE POINTS! The round as controversial as Bernie Ecclestone, is the penultimate DPR of the season. So far from the 6 games this season fsqatech leads the way with 18 points, a point ahead of DannyHUFC who in turn is 3 points ahead of 4 competitors. 40 predictors are still in with a chance of winning the monthly prize.
