Back to the defeatest attitude – PL Update

Here we are again, a defeat, looking over our shoulders with terror and that’s without the threat of Administration. Bleak bleak times to be a HUFC supporter at the moment.

We had 90 predictions for the game, 24% though HUFC would win for the first time in a long time, 27% thought the succession of draws would continue, but it was the 49% who predicted the defeat who walked away with the most points. a 2-0 home win was the 2nd most popular prediction with 16 competitors picking up 5 points, these included DORSET BULL, Barry the Hatchett, Phylo, Graeme159, PontyBull, Enforcerbull, Singe, DannyHUFC, Ruralbull, ngwilliam, HUFCKINGER, Podge, Pricers Princesses, Big Daddy Splash, lilywhite & Newent Bull. A Muffled congratulations to them all, 26 further competitors predicted a loss picking up 3 points, whilst bonus points were awarded for the following; 15 who predicted zero HUFC goals, 4 who predicted the correct margin (-2) & 1 who got the score the wrong way around.

The table is up to date and over on the prediction league page Here, Kick in the Bulls has seen his lead stripped to 6 points to Dorset Bull with Barry the Hatchet re-entering the top 3, Phylo & St Albans Bull complete the top 5. Our biggest movers were Pricers Princesses, lilywhite & pricejames87 who all moved up the table by 8 positions, with the majority of competitors moving at least one position.

The monthly table is nearly complete, 5 games gone (and nothing to really write home about), 2 to go (hoping for better things), and 15 pints still to gain in March. fsqatech & DannyHUFC are our current leaders, both have 14 points so far from the 5 games, they are a point ahead of 3 competitors & another 2 points ahead of 2 further competitors, but it’s still anyones prize.
