The Youngsters Show How It’s Done – Prediction League Update

The Hereford United Youth Team really put in a stellar performance to beat the MK Dons Under 18 ‘s last night, to gain retribution over the opponents that knocked them out at the same stage last season. The young bulls won 3-0 and with a strong display of passing & attacking football, perhaps Mr Foyle will start taking note and we can win something with Kids?

The Prediction league was put together in a haste, 24 hours before kick off, therefore any participants who did not compete has not been registered as such so that it does not affect their ability to win prizes at the end of the season. Half points were awarded to those who achieved them as it was not the first team squad, although surely some of these lads should be knocking on the door.

We registered 76 predictions for this match, with 38% going for a young bulls win, 61% for a repeat of last year and 1 solitary competitor going for the draw.

There were no competitors predicting the 3-0 victory though, the relative lack of knowledge of how good these boys are is clearly evident, that or we have lost our rose-tintedness as predictors. So 29 competitors picked up 1.5 points for predicting a win, with https://www.health-canada-pharmacy.com the following half bonus points being awarded. 8 predictors went for 3 goals by the youngsters, No competitor predicted the margin of victory (+3), whilst 4 entrants went for a 3-0 win to the young franchisers.

Half points didn’t have the full potential to affect the table greatly, and it showed as none of the top 12 moved positions, mainly due to the lack of faith in the youngsters shown by the guys up the top of the table. Therefore Barney Rubble still leads the way on 56 points on a whisker ahead of ROGER LUNDBERG on correct score-lines, they are both still ahead of Terry Jackins & Kick in the Bulls by 1 point. The biggest mover was lilywhite who achieved a 12 position gain.

The monthly table has just begun and 8 competitors who managed to achieve 2 points on the night share the current first place, although there is a long way to go in Movember yet.

The table is up to date and over on the Prediction league page, go check it out.
