The Men in White beat the Whites – PL Update
For the first time since April last year, the Bulls won back to back league games, which is a delight to witness! Over 2000 fans packed into Edgar Street to watch the 1-0 victory over Salisbury and a Dom Collins Header sent the Bulls fans home happy.
We had 91 Predictions for this game, 77% correctly predicting a Hereford win, 19% thinking it would be a draw, whilst 4% went for a win for the away team. Our most popular prediction as ever was a 2-1 HUFC win but it was just 4 competitors who felt it would be 1 single goal that would be enough for a Bulls. Therefore the maximum 5 points were picked up by DORSET BULL, Singe, Alaistairhufc & Peakey_89, congratulations to them all. 66 more competitors who predicted the win went on to pick up at least 3 points before bonus points were awarded. Of the Bonus Points 15 were awarded to competitors who went for 1 HUFC goal & 40 points were shared out to those who predicted the 1 goal margin in favour of the Bulls.
Our first competitor has completed a century, Kick in the Bulls has reached the mark from 32 games, with 4 correct score-lines, 13 correct results, 13 nil point rounds & even 2 rounds where this competitor did not compete. Now on 103 points he leads by 8 points to ROGER LUNDBERG who has overtaken Terry Jackins who is a further point behind. DORSET BULL & St Albans Bull are both 3 points back on 91 points and complete the top 5. 106 competitors moved position with this game, the biggest mover was castlebull who did not compete and therefore dropped 16 positions – There is a lesson to be learnt there!
For the month of January we have just one game remaining which is the visit of Kidderminster* on Tuesday. Being the last game of the month it is of course a DOUBLE POINTS round. The current leaders for the month are Rambling Ronnie-69 & Peakey_93 who have 13 points so far from the 3 games so far. 12 further competitors are just 1 point back. Yet with just 10 points remaining to be picked up for this month we see up to 91 competitors still able to pick up the month end prize. So make sure to get those predictions in a be in with a chance of picking up that Monthly Accolade.
