The Cardinal Sin – PL Update

For the second time this season, the Bulls were downed by Woking 3-0. We next play them at home in April, if you are in the business of superstition – and really, really want PL points! Whether it was the loss of JOK, the ‘Leggy’ness described by Martin Foyle in the post match interview or just the fact Woking were better, all debatable but we’re providing a prediction league here and that what you all care about the most, right?!?

We had 89 predictions for this game, but only 17 of these got points, 51% were in for a HUFC victory, 36% were expecting a second Draw on the trot, whilst the remaining 13% got the points for a loss. Not one competitor predicted the 3-0 defeat which is the first time since the Chester game in November where we’ve not awarded maximum points, for the 12 who did predict the loss, 3 points were awarded before bonuses. 9 Competitors picked up a point for predicting no HUFC goals, whilst two predictors win points for being overly optimist and getting the score the wrong way around! – No competitor predicted the -3 goal margin.

So, to the table, with only 17 players gaining points after last nights match we still managed to have 64 competitors moving positions, the majority of them in the wrong way! The top of the table is as you were from the Kidderminster game, with none of the top 16 moving position or scoring a point, therefore Kick in the Bulls still leads by ten points to St Albans Bull, Hereford Bulls 78, ROGER LUNDBERG & Terry Jackins completing the top 5. Our biggest mover in the table after yesterdays match was Tricky Tree who managed to jump 12 positions by scoring 4 points.

The month has only just started, but our early front runners for February include Tricky Treeold bull, Nailswortholdbull, Giant Anteator, LoopyLou & MPG2000 who all have 4 points, ahead of 6 competitors on 3 points & 5 predictors with 1 point. 4 Games are left this month.

The next game is at home to Macclesfield this Saturday, with the Bulls hoping to bounce back in front of the Home faithful, and with only one home game this month, a good support will be crucial. Predictions for this game will be taken right up until the 3pm Kick Off, and James is ready and raring to take them, so email him using predictions@hufctrust.co.uk
