Giantkiller Joins The Trust

The Hereford United Supporters Trust are delighted to confirm that giantkilling hero Ricky George has become a member.

George, scorer of the winning goal against Newcastle in 1972, continues to keep a close eye on events at Edgar Street from his Barnet home, and is pleased to see supporters rallying around the club during tough times.

“It’s good to see the Trust up and running”, he said. “The club will always hold a special place in my life, and I’m sure the supporters will do everything they can to work together. It’s amazing what fans can do.”
