Trust To Seek ACV Footprint Alteration
The HUST board met on Monday night to discuss Trust matters.
Chairman Chris Williams reported back to the board that he had been in discussions with David Keyte on a regular basis, and had just completed a 45 minute phone call with Bob Pritchard regarding the Trust’s ACV on Edgar Street. The Trust Board has agreed to a land swap on the current ACV footprint to achieve the ‘squaring-off’ that has been previously publicly discussed by the club board. The piece of land in question is the subject of a compulsory purchase order by the Council for their development of the Merton Meadow car park (see picture below).
The Trust Board has also agreed with David Keyte to exchange letters of intent that the club can present to potential developers in regards to the ACV. The Trust’s letter will state that it will not stand in the way of any development that is in the best interests of the supporters of Hereford United.
