Trust Ready To Act
The Board of Hereford United Supporters Trust (HUST) has noted the public concerns and comments recently made by interested parties – not least those of Hereford MP, Jessie Norman, last night – regarding the financial position of Hereford United.
Before Christmas, during discussions with club Chairman David Keyte, HUST Chairman Chris Williams discussed the issue of the leases in relation to the Asset of Community Value registered on the Edgar Street Stadium.
The Trust Board has asked Chris to follow up on this having noted that progress towards the signing of the new leases was due to happen during the week commencing the 13th January 2014 and that they are ready to move quickly (subject to the democratic process as outlined by the Constitution) regarding consent under the ACV in order to assist the club.
The Trust realise the importance of this deal to the future of the football club and will endeavour to give a quick response.
