HUST Board Vacancies
Please make a note of the date and put it in your diary or on the wall calendar.
The meeting will be held at the Starlite Rooms on Thursday 17th September 2015 with a prompt 7.00 pm start. All HUST members are invited and new members are also most welcome. The meeting will be chaired by Chris Williams, the HUST Chairman.
UITC Sponsorship
HUST were pleased to sponsor both the home and away kits for the Under 18 team and HUST Treasurer, Mike Langford presented a cheque for £1,080 to Mick Loader, UITC Commercial Manager at the Dunkirk game. HUST sees the new Hereford FC as a community based club and is pleased to be able to support the Hereford FC players of the future. UITC have teams at all ages and both HUST and Hereford FC wish them all an enjoyable and successful season.
Membership Renewals
These are due in September 2015 and your membership will run through to the AGM in September 2016. Membership is £10 for adults and £1 for juniors and can be made online via Paypal or by cheque to HUST. Use the AGM as an opportunity to join or renew your membership.

HUST has already purchased £25,000 of shares in Hereford FC thanks to your generous help.
HUST Commemorative Share Certificates
Now that the frames and the certificates have been received, we will start issuing the HUST Share Certificates. Treasurer, Mike Langford has a long list of names but if you have donated a minimum of £50 either in one sum or in instalments, could you make contact with him on treasurer@hufctrust.co.uk and confirm the exact name/names you want on the certificate. The response has been tremendous and shows the excitement and enthusiasm for our new club.
It is not too late to help by donating and details are on the HUST website. Every pound donated will go towards HUST’s share purchase in your Hereford FC.
50/50 Draw Tickets
Congratulations to Allan Brown from Monmouth for buying a ticket and the Dunkirk game and going home with the £500 1st Prize! Allan had a bigger smile than John Mills and he had just scored a hat trick!
On match days please do invest a £1 and buy a 50/50 Ticket where the winning number is drawn at half time. Half the monies collected go to HUST towards share purchase, the rest into the prize fund. We have a willing and enthusiastic band of sellers encouraging you to part with your money but a few more helpers would be welcomed so that we can maximize the important income this produces. Ideally we would like to have a long list of volunteers so that sellers can be put on a rota, the more the merrier!
In just 4 home matches, including the 2 friendlies, we have sold over 5,000 tickets. If you would like to help and sell tickets on home match days between 1.30pm and 2.50pm, as we don’t want anyone missing the action on the pitch, then please contact Mike Langford at treasurer@hufctrust.co.uk
Prize Bull Lottery
The jackpot continues to rollover and is now £3,900 for anyone who can pick the 4 numbers drawn each Monday evening. We will shortly have “bookie tickets” which will allow you to purchase tickets from nominated agents but a sure way to ensure that you support HUST is to set up a standing order either from your bank or via Paypal.
The cost is £4.33 per calendar month or you can increase your chances of winning with an “any 4 from 5” option at £21.65 per month. Supporting the fund raising activities of HUST in turn supports Hereford FC so please do join with the chance of winning a large lump sum!
