Trust members attend workshop

Three members of the HUST Working Group attended the Supporters Direct hosted ‘Board Member Development’ workshop in Birmingham on Saturday. Martin Watson, George Webb and Jon Hale took part in the event, which is aimed at Trust members interested in being elected to the Trust Board.

The workshops through the day included a multitude of topics including Trust rules, The Trust Year, Being an Effective Trust Board Member, raising finance, stakeholders and Strategic Planning. The event was attended by other clubs’ trust representatives including those from Aston Villa, Birmingham City, Leamington and Shrewsbury Town.

The HUST members gained much experience from the day as well as having valuable networking with the other trusts.
