Supporting Hereford FC Through The Coronavirus Emergency Period
The impact of watching live football during the Coronavirus emergency is now becoming clearer. Arrangements mean that, even down to National League North/South level, Clubs with larger attendances may not be able to accommodate all supporters initially. Whilst surveys show that not all fans will return straight away due to their personal circumstances, attendances are forecast to be sufficient to cause a displacement. Clubs like Hereford FC fall into this category.
HUST commends the Club’s four phase approach to ticket sales and believes it tries to offer the best chance for all fans in a particularly difficult situation. Restrictions on attendances, and therefore income, may literally level the playing field across Clubs in our division this season. Consequently, we would encourage Hereford supporters to purchase season tickets where possible so that they can give Josh and Steve the best chance of building a competitive team. It may also help those fans who like to travel away to have priority purchase of away tickets where an allocation is offered.
