Hereford FC supporters continue to play their part in donating to the club through the good offices of HUST. Today we can announce that another tranche of funds, £5,000, has been paid into the club. This follows hot on the heels of a £5,000 donation in September. For this we get shares in the club, and to Hereford FC this is a straight cash injection. There are no restrictions on how Hereford FC can use the money for the benefit of the Club.
This takes the HUST Shareholding and Fan Ownership to £256,000, which is 47% of the shares issued and paid for. Supporters have given freely in the knowledge that they too can own a part of their football club. We would like to thank all those who have taken part in the various fundraisers to help achieve this in these challenging and uncertain times.
HUST Chair, Richard Tomkins, said “Despite these uncertain economic times following the Covid pandemic, HFC fans are pulling out all the stops to support our team. They continue to encourage the team at matches and are making wonderful contributions to our fundraising avenues which in turn means we can quickly supply additional funds to the club. Thank you one and all.”
Jon Hale, Chair of Hereford FC said “The Board of Directors of Hereford FC welcomes HUST’s purchase of a further £5,000 of shares. We are delighted to see that, through the 50-50 half time draw and other successful fund-raising streams, HUST are continuing to purchase shares in the Football Club, which provides vital funds going forward. We continue to support each other’s organisations for the common goal of seeing Hereford FC progress both on and off the field, and that is appreciated and to be applauded.”
The target is to reach £289,000 by 31st May 2022 and so own 50% of the Hereford FC Share Capital.
ONLY £33,000 IS NOW REQUIRED TO REACH THE TARGET
Thank you for your continued support.
