Ricky George To Manage Fans Team

HUST is pleased to announce that Bulls legend Ricky George is to manage the HUST Fans Team at Royston on Saturday, August 23rd.

The scorer of the winning goal against Newcastle all those years ago, he will manage the Fans Team against a Royston side that has already announced a string of star names in their team for the game.

Dion Dublin, Matt Holland, Julian Dicks, Rob Newman, Jeremy Goss, Ian Walker, Warren Goodhind, Dean Greygoose, and Nick Hammond will be joined by ex-Bull (and Royston Town legend) Scott Goodwin as names already announced by the hosts.

The game takes place at 11am on the day, with Royston’s home game against Aylesbury that afternoon (3pm) designated as a HUST solidarity day.

An auction of promises will take place, and the proceeds of the sale of a special programme and takings from the car park will be donated to HUST.

More details on the HUST Fans Team for the game will be announced in due course.

We would also like to thank the 350 fans that turned up at Pegasus’ Old School Lane ground last night for the Fans Team game with Pegasus. Despite the 5-0 loss, and wet weather, the game was enjoyed by all thanks to the fantastic hospitality provided by Pegasus. It was good to see that the grant money won in 2012 had been spent on some marvelous facilities.

We will be back at Old School Lane on Sunday, September 7th to face the Kidderminster Harriers Fans Team.
