Minutes of Board meeting held on 25th June 2015
Précis of Minutes of HUST Meeting held on Thursday 25th June 2015
Board resignations
It was noted that both Paul Stevens and Mick Loader had resigned from the Board due to other business commitments. Rob Purdie likewise but for footballing reasons. Mitch Stansbury would be standing down as the London Bull representative at the AGM. Chris Oleksy would also be standing down but would continue to run the Fans Team.
It was agreed that this information would be released on Bulls News and the HUST website and a plea for additional help would be made immediately with a list of jobs assembled to ensure there were more helpers and Board Members.
July 11th Events
The Fans Day and the visit of F C United of Manchester was discussed in depth.
50/50 Draw
Mike Langford and Andy Swift volunteered to organize the draw. A request would be made for volunteers. A valuable source of income.
Prize Bull Lottery
Prize Bull bookie tickets would be purchased and we would follow the Merthyr model. This is probably the biggest income generator with a sizeable prize and the Lottery would be moved onto the next level.
UITC
A Service Agreement was being agreed by UITC and HFC. HUST saw UITC as an integral part of HFC but HUST would provide the kit for the under 18’s and pay for the floodlights for certain matches at E.S.
Talking Bull
Agreed to donate £100 to help resurrect and also a further £100 to promote the Prize Bull Lottery on the back page.
Sportsman Evening
Tony Clifford-Jones would contact a friend who had offered to organize an evening at a date which did not clash with other established dinners.
Fans Team
Leominster have requested a game and Weobley are also interested. He would also like a re-match with Worcester. Ideal time is when HFC have a gap in their fixture list and perhaps play on E.S. if the pitch was in good condition.
Aims and Objects
Given everything that has happened in such a short period of time, it was agreed the the HUST A&O should be discussed as an agenda item at the July meeting.
The huge amount of effort and time being invested in the Club by HFC directors, HUST, Ken Kinnersley and his volunteers was recognised and appreciated. The main thrust is to get a game actually played on E.S. on Saturday 11th July 2015!
