Legend tips Pineau De Re to help Bulls

The former Hereford United giantkiller Ricky George has tipped Pineau De Re in the Grand National, and will donate any winning proceeds to the club.

George, who co-owned Earth Summit to victory in the 1998 National, made the offer during a BBC Hereford & Worcester interview this week.

A £50 each-way bet will be placed in the hope that the 25/1 shot will repeat Earth Summit’s dramatic triumph and boost the clubs fighting fund.

The Legend says: “I’ve got a background in the Grand National and I’m going to donate my bet to the Save the Bulls Fund via the Hereford United Supporters Trust.

“HUST will receive whatever I win and in some small way I’m hopeful that will help.”
