KEEP THE BULLS FLYING – PEN Y FAN CHALLENGE
The KEEP THE BULLS FLYING campaign sees a second challenge go ahead at the weekend. Fresh from her recent parachute jump HUST Board Member, Joanie Roberts, alongside HUST fundraising co-ordinator and Talking Bull editor, Keith Hall, will be climbing Pen Y Fan.
At 2,907ft Pen Y Fan is the highest peak in South Wales and will see our two adventurers challenged in the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park.
If you would like to join them, please email joanie.roberts@hufctrust.co.uk or alternatively please show your support and sponsor Joanie and Keith via https://www.gofundme.com/keep-the-bulls-flying
Joanie explains: “The aim is to raise £20,000 for HUST to purchase shares in Hereford FC. HUST is aiming to purchase 289,000 shares in the football club by 31 March 2020 and it is only by fans supporting campaigns such as this and buying HUST 50/50 tickets that this will be achieved.
“By purchasing shares the club gains important capital to invest as it sees fit. I understand The HFC Academy is a priority and HUST fully supports the Club in this important venture. It was terrifying doing the skydive so I am pleased to have my feet firmly on the ground this time!”.
The KEEP THE BULLS FLYING CAMPAIGN by HUST will continue all season and beyond. Joanie and Laura Davies’ recent the skydive raised £635 and further challenges will be forthcoming!
Thank you for your continued support.
