HUST Statement On Meeting With Club Board

Members of HUST’s Board met on Tuesday night with the Board of Hereford United regarding a potential bid for the club.

An amicable meeting saw the Club Board outline the Club’s present financial position, in line with previous public statements, and sought assurances towards HUST’s ability to meet these sums.

The Club’s Board retains significant hope that the two outside investors, whose negotiations are far in advance of HUST’s position, remain the club’s best chance of progress but were keen to stress that they would not dismiss a bid from HUST if it remained the only viable option for the Club to continue.
HUST will be seeking clarification from its advisers with Supporters Direct on a number of points of procedure before outlining the next move and seeking a full members meeting.
