HUST NOMINATED DIRECTOR ELECTED TO NATIONAL LEAGUE BOARD
We are delighted that a HUST Nominated Director has been elected to the Board of the National League. Many congratulations to Joanie Roberts! All supporters will be aware of the National League’s unusual distribution of National Lottery funds meant to compensate for lost gate receipts during the pandemic.
HUST Chairman, Richard Tomkins says “The National League, led by its new General Manager, Mark Ives, is embarking on a programme of change to its operation. The Fan Led Review of Football panel discussed the National League and I participated in that panel review! In my opinion, Joanie’s election is as significant to our Club today as when Len Weston was appointed to the Southern League. Get your history books out for that one.”
Joanie remains as a Hereford FC Director on the HFC board, representing all the Clubs in the NLN, alongside Blyth Director, Mike Coulson and we wish her every success at the National League.
