HUST Investment in Hereford FC Reaches £230,000

HUST Investment in Hereford FC Reaches £230,000

HUST is pleased to advise that a further £5,000 has been paid to Hereford FC for the purchase of shares on 10th September 2020

A total of £20,000 has been invested by HUST, on behalf of Bulls fans, since the season was suspended with the Covid-19 lock-down, back in March 2020. A £40,000 investment in the last 12 months. This takes the HUST Shareholding and Fan Ownership to £230,000, which is 44.3% of the shares issued and paid for.

We would like to thank all those who have taken part in the various fundraisers to help achieve this in these challenging and uncertain times.

Chair of HUST, Peter Sell said “I’m delighted with this further injection of cash into our wonderful Club. It just goes to show how important our fans are, as all the funds put into the Club have come from them. They are fully deserving of the share of HFC they now own through HUST. Let’s see if we can hit our target of 50% ownership as soon as possible, which really will help the Club in these difficult times.”

This is a straight cash injection to Hereford FC, there are no restrictions on how Hereford FC can use the money for the benefit of the Club.

HFC Chairman, Andrew Graham said “It is a positive move that HUST and HFC are working so closely together. This money is most welcome and we all thank those involved in raising it, contributing to it and continuing to purchase shares.”

The target to reach is £289,000 by 31st May 2021 and so own 50% of the Hereford FC Share Capital.

ONLY £59,000 IS NOW REQUIRED TO REACH THE TARGET!
