HUST Donations Update
As reported in recent weeks, the Hereford United Supporters Trust have made donations of funds to the Football Club for specific purposes, £4521 towards the recent tax demand & £4000 towards the players and staff wages. The Trust has requested shares in the football club in return for these donations.
HUST would not have been able to make these donations if it wasn’t for kind contributions small & large from Trust Members, Hereford Supporters and the wider football community. The Board of the Supporters Trust are overwhelmed by the donations made to us and are happy to present them on the donor’s wishes. So a massive THANK YOU to the 207 individual donators who made 223 contributions between them so far to help HUST & the football club.
The Trust are still taking donations towards the Solidarity fund which raises cash to cover the wages of the players & staff of the football club. Donations can be made via the GoFundMe website & via the PayPal link at the bottom of this page, we can also provide details of our bank account to be paid directly into (email finance@hufctrust.co.uk) or we can take cash donations at our Table at tomorrow’s game or directly through a Trust Official.
The Trust confirms that it will seek shares in return for any donation made to the football club – The more shares held by the Trust the larger voice it will have.
The Trust Board also wishes to confirm it’s attendance at the joint board meeting with HUISA & the Football Club’s directors. This meeting is due to take place on Monday night, so if you have any point you wish the Trust to make on your behalf at this meeting please let us know in good time so we can represent the supporters as best as we can.
Our Table at tomorrow’s game will be set up in the VP Club lounge entrance (next door to Radfords) and we will continue to offer our full range of memberships & merchandise, whilst we are also happy to take donations on your request. We will be set up from 1.30pm up until 2.45pm with Trust Board Members on hand to take any questions or suggestions you may have, whilst if you are able to help the Trust in any way we’d love to hear from you too.
A small amount of Bull Mirrors will be available in the club shop before/after the game tomorrow with the opportunity to order them should they sell out. We’re hoping to supply a larger stock to the club before the Alfreton game on Monday 21st April.
We hope to see as many fans as possible at Tomorrow’s game, roaring the Mighty Whites to another win and hopefully as far away from that dreaded bottom four as possible.
