A Point in Grimsby – PL Update

Well, another point, hopefully another point closer to safety, but it’s still not the time to relax yet.

 

We had 88 predictions for this game, 74% predicting a home win, 17% going for a win for the Bulls and the remaining 9% going for honours even. 7 predictors correctly predicted the 1-1 scoreline and picked up 5 points, congratulations to St Albans Bull, Tom from Redditch, Squinny, ladybull, Organic, MPG2000 & thefatbull. 1 further entrant also predicted the draw and picked up 3 points. Bonus points were given to 26 competitors who predicted the correct number of HUFC goals (1), 1 who predicted the correct margin (nil) & it was impossible to get the score the wrong way around.

 

The league table, which is up on the prediction league page in it’s usual spot, is headed once again by Kick in the Bulls who has extended his lead by a further point to 121 ahead of DORSET BULL (113 pts) as St Albans Bull jumps back into the top 3 – 3 points further adrift. Barry the Hatchet (108.5 pts) & Phylo (108 pts) complete the top five. Rambling Ronnie-69 & MPG2000 were our biggest movers gaining ten positions each. PontyBull is the latest member of the 100 club.

 

The monthly table is nearly halfway complete with 3 of March’s 7 games complete. Tom from Redditch is our current leader on 11 points with a points gap to BenSmithsDislocatedShoulder, Squinny & Charlie’s Libbyrated Army who in turn are a point ahead of LoopyLou & The Undertakers. There are 4 games and 25 points available for the remainder of March.
