Fans Team Beaten By Harriers

The Fans Team lost 2-0 to Kidderminster Harriers in the match at Pegasus Juniors this afternoon.

Legends Adie Smith and Dean Bennett, with 600 Harriers appearances between them, netted the goals in the first half with the home side having a second half effort ruled out for offside.

The game raised around £330 for UITC from the gate.

The result means the end of the management of John Layton, with the team chairman again wielding the axe after a defeat!

HUST would like to thank all those that attended the game, and the players and management that gave up their time to raise funds for UITC this afternoon.
