Dodge In

Hereford Born Ian Rodgerson is the latest ex Bull to sign up for the Hereford United Supporters Trust. Affectionately known as ‘Dodge’ by Bull’s fans, as a player he started and finished his career with the Lily Whites, making over 300 appearances, with spells at Cardiff, Birmingham & Sunderland in between. After retiring in 2002, he went on to become a physiotherapist at clubs including Birmingham, Forest Green and was recently Hereford United Club Physio up until the middle of this year. He is currently running his own Physiotherapy practice at Hereford Leisure Centre.

Ian became HUST member number 291 after being approached by board member Paul Stevens. We are very glad to have him, and he joins a plethora of former players with Gareth Davies, Stuart Phillips, Ricky George, Rob Elmes, Matt Clarke & Ben Smith, we’ve almost got enough for a team! – Anyone got Guy Ipoua’s number?

In other Trust news, we sponsored today’s match, awarding the Man of the Match to Michael Rankine on the basis of fan’s votes via text messages and twitter, whilst we also took a number of donations for the youth team and the club and increased our membership numbers even further. With the result on the pitch finally going to plan, we’ve had a good day!
