A very Happy and Healthy New Year to Bulls Fans at Home & Abroad

A very Happy and Healthy New Year to Bulls fans at home and abroad.

As we enter 2020 we recognise that there were a few ups and downs this past year in 2019 but it is important to remember our Club is still here. This time in January 2015 we were unable to say that.

As always, and especially today we take the opportunity to thank Kidderminster Harriers for the assistance they gave us during those dark days.

From a supporters’ point of view there were some notable events and milestones this past year.

Edgar Street – Our Home
The Supporters’ Trust applied for, and were successful, in gaining the renewal of Edgar Street Football Ground as an Asset of Community Value. The new ACV period now runs for 5 years from February 2019 til February 2024. It is eligible for renewal every 5 years. We believed we had an even stronger case than we did 5 years previous and we’re pleased to say that Herefordshire Council agreed with us.

HUST Stake-holding in our Football Club
As we commence the New Year, a further cheque for £10,000 was handed to Andrew Graham, Chair of HFC, at the recent home match v. Leamington FC on 28th December 2019, which brings the Trust’s shareholding in the club to £210,000 (a 42% stake which we hold for all supporters).

Joanie Roberts, Chair of HUST said “Every match, we go again… It may not be pretty, it may not be exciting to watch, it may be testing patience… BUT for all that, We DO HAVE A CLUB to support. 5 years ago the gates were locked.. We have the power now to keep them open for good!

Lest WE Forget… “Our greatest glory is not in never failing but in rising every time we fall”

Our Club needs our support, not only to see this season out but looking ahead to next season too and the one after that and the one after that… We are on a journey that has a few bumps in the road, some bigger than others!! We are the HFC #FootyFamily and stick together through thick and thin…

On behalf of the supporters around the globe, I would like to say goodbye to Mike Symons, another Hereford Legend who has served the Club and Bulls fans with passion, dignity and is the last of the original players from 2015.  We wish Mike well in his new Club.

So 2020 sees us moving into a new decade with a lot of ground to cover and some hard work ahead.  Nobody said owning and running a Football Club would be easy! We are a Community, family Club, so let’s all pull together and stay #ForeverUnited. Happy New Year and may 2020 be a positive start to the next chapter in Hereford FC history book”
