Hereford Supporter Re-elected to FSA National Council

The Football Supporters’ Association, of which HUST is a member, campaigns for football fans everywhere. It works with supporters, governing bodies, leagues and clubs to drive positive change in football through supporter engagement. Individual fans, supporters’ trusts and other organisations may join. FSA is run by a small full-time staff reporting into elected fans from Premier League, Football League, National Game, Community Clubs, Fans for Diversity and associates.

Richard Tomkins of the HUST Board has recently been re-elected to represent the National Game Network alongside reps from Dulwich Hamlet and Billericay Town. Richard says “Of immediate interest to Hereford fans is the FSA’s ‘Sustain the Game’ campaign, which calls in particular to strengthen the Pyramid, with transparency of operation for not just clubs, but leagues as well. In my own 50 years as a fan, this is a remarkable time with voices of ordinary fans now having influence in Parliament.”
