FSA Green Football Weekend: £1,000 grant available

Green Football Weekend is upon us and the organisers are making a £1,000 grant available to support sustainability work in football.

Submissions are now being sought from clubs and supporter groups on the sustainability work or project that would benefit from the Green Football Weekend grant.

What is Green Football Weekend?

Back at the start of February 2023, the first ever Green Football Weekend took place and it provided supporters with an opportunity to contribute to tackling the climate crisis.

Throughout the weekend clubs wore green armbands during games to promote the message, pundits’ microphones were coloured green and supporters pledged to make environmentally-conscious choices around travel and food.
